Behind every great honey harvest is a great landowner! We were fortunate enough to open up 3 more bee yards this past week! 🐝

We’re incredibly thankful for the amazing people who allow us to place our hives on their properties. From open fields to bush lots, these locations help our bees thrive and make it possible for us to do what we love every day.

Your trust, support, and kindness mean more than you know. Beekeeping truly takes a community, and we’re proud to work alongside such wonderful landowners who care about agriculture, pollinators, and local food.

🌼🐝 Spring is GO time in the life of a beekeeper!

The snow melts, the bees wake up, and suddenly every day is buzzing with activity. From checking hives and making splits to preparing for honey flow season, spring is one of the busiest — and most exciting — times of the year.

Long days, muddy boots, sticky gloves, and the sound of thousands of busy bees… we wouldn’t trade it for anything. 💛🍯

This is the season where strong colonies are built, flowers begin blooming, and the hard work starts that eventually brings fresh local honey to your table.

🍯 RAW HONEY = UNPASTEURIZED HONEY 🍯

Did you know?
“Raw honey” and “unpasteurized honey” mean essentially the same thing — honey that has not been heated to high temperatures during processing.

By keeping honey raw and unpasteurized, it helps preserve:
🐝 Natural enzymes
🌼 Local pollen
🍯 Rich flavour and aroma
✨ Its natural goodness

Over time, real raw/unpasteurized honey may crystallize — and that’s actually a sign that your honey is pure and natural!

Ever opened your jar of honey and noticed it’s turned thick, grainy, or almost solid? Don’t worry—your honey hasn’t gone bad… it’s actually a sign of the real deal. 🍯

Honey naturally crystallizes over time, especially when it’s raw and unprocessed. Those tiny crystals form because of the natural sugars (glucose and fructose) separating—something pure honey does without any additives or heavy filtering.

In fact, many people love crystallized honey. It’s perfect for spreading on toast, adding to oatmeal, or enjoying by the spoonful.

If you prefer it smooth again, simply place your jar in a pot of warm (not boiling) water and gently stir until it returns to liquid. Avoid microwaving, as high heat can damage the natural enzymes and goodness inside.
