Well sometimes life takes you down a different path when you least expect it. For nearly 15 years I have used and promoted Thrive Life freeze dried foods. I have become totally converted to the high quality of them as a nourishing food for my family, and I loved the extended shelf life that fits perfectly with my priorities. I also got pretty used to the convenience. But recently Thrive Life took on some investors who, as it turns out, didn't share the same passion for the mission of the company. Investors are usually only interested in the money, and they decided to transition over to selling only to big corporations, dissolving their long standing relationship with individual households.
That was a shocker! And within less than 6 weeks the brand had completely disappeared except on the shelves of the tens of thousands of people who purchased during the liquidation.
For those same tens of thousands of people, there was an unexpected void, so began an earnest search to find the company to replace the one we were loyal to. Difficult shoes to fill. But when you've got lots of people searching and cooperatively sharing (yes, we'd become that closely knit) - that's a lot of resources, and we found what we were searching for.
It wasn't a surprise that though this company was up for the scrutiny, they had some tweaking to do. For the last 13 years they've been selling to businesses, but they're anxious to expand into the direct sale market.
I invested many hours learning about them as a company - and I'M IMPRESSED on every level. I sent for some samples to check out their food - the big test. It arrived yesterday. I am looking forward to tasting it. Stay tuned, I'll let you know what I honestly think about it, and IF it measures up to the quality I've become accustomed to.
