Despite multiple reports submitted through Meta's official channels, the fraudulent page impersonating our business remains active and continues to put our customers at risk. What makes this especially frustrating is that Meta has shown no urgency in addressing a clear case of fraud, yet they are actively promoting a $15/month Meta Verified subscription as the solution to the very trust and authenticity problems they've failed to prevent.
This is a troubling business model: allow bad actors to operate unchecked, then charge legitimate businesses to distinguish themselves from the fraud. We should not have to pay a subscription fee to fix a problem that Meta has both the tools and the responsibility to address.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE - FAKE PAGE ALERT ⚠️
There is a fraudulent page impersonating Acme Meat Market. It is still active, and we need your help to take it down.
We are asking everyone to please report it directly to Facebook. The more reports submitted, the harder it is for Meta to ignore. Here's how:
Go to the fake page
Click the three dots (•••) on their profile
Select "Find support or report"
Choose "Pretending to be something they're not" → "A business"
Submit the report
Every single report counts. Please take 30 seconds to do this and share this post so others can too.
The cow hu***ng is a great touch to the profile page. Gives it that little something extra . Thanks everyone.
