Our Story

My name is Matt Hazen and I was razed as a outdoors man, my dad got me started hunting at a early age. I started cutting meat when I 15 years old at my uncles place, the deer that our family had got that season, as the years went on I worked in a few meat shops, and grocery stores got to learn all the cut of meat. In 2013 we moved to Eganville a friend had asked me to help him cut up his deer, word got around and deer started to come in. The next few years the same people kept coming back to bring me there deer and that is how we got the idea to start Hazen Enterprises. It is a family owned business and I enjoy doing it our prices are fair and meat is always clean and cut the way the hunter asks for. We cut a number of deer ,bear, and moose, each year, we can only do wild game in saying that we can NOT and will NOT do any farm razed animals at this time eg; cows, pigs, goats, chickens, exta , we like the way thing are going now and do not want to change. We plan on continuing to do this as the years go on. Happy hunting and thank you for all the business.
