If you have saved seeds you can drop them off at the Enderby Library!

Did you know that extra seeds you have can be dropped off at the Enderby library to be packaged by volunteers for the seed cabinet in the library and the Seed swap? Many hours are spent making envelopes,stamping them, filling them with seeds and writing by hand what is in each envelope! We couldn’t do it without our dedicated volunteers. Many thanks!!!!

Happy New Year! Seed packaging at the Enderby library on Friday Jan.9 from 10:30-12:30. Also Sat. Jan 17 from 10:30-12:30. Friday Jan.23 10:30-12:30 and Sat. Jan. 31 from 10:30-12:30. Everyone is welcome and no experience needed. We appreciate your helping hands! We are packaging for this years Seed Swap at Splatsin on March 7th 10:00-3:00. If you have seeds to share please drop them off at the library! Thank you and lets get growing.

Applications for 2026 are open from January 1 to April 30, after which the Grindrod Garlic Festival Society will meet to discuss applications. Products must be made/grown in British Columbia and preference will be given to vendors from the North Okanagan/Shuswap areas.

Many hands make light work

Come one come all to seed packaging at the Enderby library on Saturday Nov. 22 10:30-12:30. No experience needed. Many hands make light work. The Shuswap seed savers will also be packaging seeds at two Christmas markets at Splatsin. Friday Nov. 28th 10:00-2:30 and Dec.5th 10:00-2:30. Bring extra seeds to drop off for us to package or come help package! Many thanks to all our helpers!!!
