Mama Cow has come a long way since she came home to the farm last year. Since Farmer Grumps is always calm and gentle when caring for the cattle, she has come to trust us and even allow us to pet her now... Huge step!
Her calf, Gwen, is very observant and a bit more timid. She will come around though with time and patience.
They are both loving the green pastures this spring. Gwen is growing like a w**d. She has personality and will probably end up being the Boss cow when she is a bit older.
The Boss cow is the one that when Farmer Grumps calls, she will get the others moving towards the feedlot and lead the charge. Boss Cow is always a cow(female). It is pretty cool to watch.
