Save this recipe for your next BBQ 🍖
Fresh, garlicky, herby, and packed with flavour, this chimichurri instantly upgrades steak, sausages, chicken, veggies, sandwiches… honestly, EVERYTHING.
Ingredients:
• ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 small shallot, finely diced (optional)
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• 1 small red chili or 2 tsp chili flakes 🌶️
• 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ⅔ cup olive oil
Instructions:
Finely chop parsley, garlic, and shallot.
Add everything except olive oil to a bowl.
Stir in olive oil until combined.
Let sit for 15 minutes so the flavors meld together.
Spoon over grilled steak, chicken, roasted veggies, eggs, or sausages.
💡 Pro Tip: Don’t overblend it, chimichurri should stay chunky and vibrant, not smooth like pesto.
