Hello Everyone,
The website for the market has been updated to reflect all the vendors that attended the market in the 2025 season. There are 3 pages of vendors if you click on the contact pages in the top right corner of the website. The brief description of what the vendor has, does not do justice to the product. We have such fantastic vendors and if there is something you are specifically looking for, send me a text or call 306-450-2652. You can also email [email protected]. (with email, it could be designated as junk by the system, so if you don't receive a response within 2 days, just call). To access the website, go to your favorite search engine, like google, and type fort qu'appelle farmers market and it will be in the list.
I would like to thank all our vendors that make the market the wonderful place it is, we had quite the year with a lot of cool and windy days, however we did have close to 80 vendors that attended last season! Thank you also to StarBlanket Cree Nation for the grounds we operate the market on all these years. It is such a perfect location. Thank you!
Of course without our customers and market fans, we would not be the market we are, so a big THANK-YOU to all our supporters. I hope you enjoyed the market and will make it part of your stop in the valley next year. If there is something you would like to see at the market, but is not there, please feel free to comment or contact us via email. If you are thinking about participating as a vendor at the market, this is new....in 2026 season, applications will not be accepted after JUNE 15 for the 2026 season, so don't procrastinate. Again send an email if you want to get started now or in the near future.
It has been so nice to have such a long fall season, here we are in November and no snow yet, good driving weather and cool enough to stop the maple bugs, yeah! We all know winter will arrive, but it's been a blessing to have just a little less of it. Since we are so close to Christmas, I will take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful holiday season. Be safe, stay healthy and happy and the best to you all in the New Year.
See you at the market in a few months.....🙂

Well, here we are, down to one market left. Yes, tomorrow September 6th is our last market of the 2025 season. Hard to believe. It always goes so fast and the end of the market also marks the end of a season. Looks like it is going to be a nice day and I hope that continues for a couple of months. I like to think of this as the last chance market. You will be able to contact vendors if you need to, by looking at the web page for the market. It will be updated shortly with all the vendors that came to the market this year. I will post on facebook when it is completed.
Last weekend with it's July like weather was a fantastic market. We had 47 vendors and it was pretty busy.
You know, we are already talking about next year.
Just a reminder, open 9 to 1, lots of parking on the west side if the street is full.
So if you can take a break from harvest or what ever you are doing tomorrow, enjoy the fresh air, take a walk around the market.
See you there.

Hello Market Friends & Supporters!
What is everyone doing for the last long weekend of the summer?Once again, the season flew by and this year especially, I feel it just got started.
Put a visit to the market on your list. We are finished for the season on September 6th, but a lot of our vendors are wrapping up this weekend. We are expecting around 45 vendors on Saturday and the weather is supposed to be fantastic.
Did you know we have Farmer Market t-shirts for sale. Both men's and women's in various sizes available at the coffee shed for $30.00.
We are also featuring live music on Saturday. This gentleman entertains people all over the province and we are thrilled to have him back at the market.
A visit to the market is a great way to start your weekend, whether you are shopping for food, that weekend BBQ, baking, gifts, bouquets, stocking up like I do, or you just want to take in the atmosphere, have pizza for lunch and listen to music. There truly is something for everyone. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Have a safe and happy week-end!😁

Countdown on. 3 markets left including tomorrow., the last market is Saturday, September 6th. Harvest in some places is underway and fall is in the air some days. Please remember a lot of our vendors are winding down as well, so ask if you can get whatever you are thinking of buying the following week as they may not be there. The website will be updated with this year's participants after the market is over so you can track down the vendor there as well. There were over 30 vendors at the market last week despite the wind and a shower.
On my agenda is to stock up for the months ahead. Soups and buns, biscuits, baking, jams, pickles, mustard, honey and the like. I am always glad I did come the really cold months, tastes of the market with snow on the ground helps. 😃
Sorry for the "S" word.
See you at the market tomorrow!

Hello Marketers!
There have been 2 markets since an update. The long weekend market was super busy and a great day. We had 51 vendors and good weather.

Last Saturday (Aug 9) with the rain and the threat of rain all over at varying intensity we had fewer vendors although it didn't rain until around 2:00, it was fairly humid and mostly cloudy. Despite the uncertainty, the market had over 20 vendors and was well attended. Thank you to our customers that support local and things home made, hand made, home grown and home baked.

There are only 5 markets left! That includes this Wednesday, August 13th from 3:00 to 7:00. So you can sleep in before the market or come after work. This is our final week-day market of the year, our last Saturday market is Sept 6th at our usual time, 9 to 1:00.

I hope you are having a good summer, hope to see you at the market on Wednesday, August 13th, open 3:00 to 7:00.

Oh wow!! This is going to be some weekend. Last long weekend of the summer and so many things on the go. The market in Fort Qu'Appelle is expecting around 50 vendors this Saturday, give or take, still doing a count. There are some new vendors tomorrow and some of these vendors you won't see again until next year, so include this as a stop in your busy weekend. 9:00 open, 1:00 close, parking on the west side.
Thank you so much to our resident bee keeper Linda Kletchko from St. Joes for her wonderful presentation last week. It was fabulous!
She may not consider herself an expert, but after last weekend, I'm sure everyone that had the pleasure of attending certainly does.
So if you have not had to opportunity to come to the market this season in Fort Qu'Appelle, this Saturday will give you an overview of much of what we have to offer. We do boost about 70 vendors come through every season, so tomorrow is a majority. It really is a fantastic market! Pictures don't do it justice, experience is better, but enjoy. Have a great long weekend everyone and be safe. See you tomorrow!

Hello Everyone!
As they say.."hot enough for ya?" It was for me, maybe a little too hot. Tomorrow at the market won't be as hot as it was today and thankfully, the forecast I have shows less wind. So as we are at the last market of July, time is ticking and as per usual summer just whizzes by. As always, looking forward to another market with healthy vegetables, home grown and an abundance of baking, arts and crafts and more and more. As our markets go, we are expecting around 30 vendors tomorrow.
As a reminder, our honey and honey products presentation will be on the north side by the coffee shed at 11:30. Linda Kletchko from St. Joes, has been a beekeeeper since 1997 and she seriously knows her stuff. There will be a draw to win items from Linda's stash and there is no money required. You will receive a ticket just for attending and draw will be done at the end of the presentation. Get a cool drink, grab a friend and take a break. Chairs are provided. Can't wait to see you all at the market! It's going to be a great day!

Hello Market Fans!
It has been a busy week at the market. We had our Wednesday market on July 16 and thank you to all the customers and vendors that attended. There was a total of 18 vendors there as well as a food truck and Trifons pizza. Sealand was there also and I now have a big box of beautiful shrimp. I also purchased another crochet'ed chicken because they are soft and adorable for the guest bedroom. Stickman has awesome incense fragrances and doesn't come often, so when he does I get another sensational flavor. This time it was watermelon. It smells like summer! I also came home with beet tops and lettuce and had pizza for dinner. Whew.
Yesterday at our regular Saturday market, we had a total of 30 vendors and it was a busy day. Our Saskatoon provider sold out on Saturday, so hopefully you got your berries.
This coming Saturday, July 26th, we will be having another presentation at the north end of the market. Again, it is free to attend and tickets will be given to all those who attend to win a free gift. It will start at 11:30 and the topic is about the ins and outs of honey and honey products. We happen to have a vendor that has been a beekeeper since 1997. So grab a friend and take a seat, I am sure you will enjoy it.
