🤦‍♀️ From having a super smart fox that we've finally managed to keep out of our chicken runs, to getting a visit from this jerk. We luckily only lost one chicken last night, but since I saw it again this morning, all chickens are in lock-down till I manage to put up netting. It will be a pretty boring day for our chickens to be locked away in their coops. But better that than being eaten.

Chick number 9 hatching. This is really sped up. The whole process took about 10 minutes. And that was after a couple of hours of it working to create the initial whole in the shell.

We've been having an issue with something taking our chickens, and last night we finally caught the culprit on camera. We've been fixing and adding to our fencing over the past year and been very confused about what was able to get in. No signs of digging under the fence and no ability to either because of our fencing. I didn't think foxes could jump a fence this high, but here we are. Now to add to our fence again. *sigh*

Our garlic is coming up nicely this spring. It was overall a late spring, but all around us, plants and animals are working hard to catch up.

Finally seeing some flowers and insects around the farm. It felt like forever for the snow to melt, but now we are finally digging, seeding, planting, and setting things up for the season.

I'm out digging up the rest of the radishes right now, and just pulled this monster. It'll either be so spicy if might as well be wasabi, or it'll be as tough as wood.
