Here we go again! Who is ready to crush goals, find their running crew, and build serious consistency this summer with Jess and Leith? The Pace Pals are launching TWO 8-Week Summer Running Series!

Jess (Registered Dietitian & Kinesiologist) and Leith (Nutritionist) are teaming up again to co-lead you along the way. We’re combining movement science with real-world pacing strategies to get you there, providing nutrition, hydration and movement education along the way!

✨ THREE TRAINING TRACKS:
1️⃣ Beginner 5K: Perfect for starting fresh or blending running/walking.
2️⃣ Intermediate 5K: For those who can finish a 5K but want to feel stronger and faster.
3️⃣ 10K Track: Ready to step up the distance safely and systematically.

👥 PACE PALS!
On Run #1, you’ll complete a solo "Conversational Pace Test." Based on your results, we will put you into pacing tiers. Within our social pages, you'll be able to connect with local Pace Pals so you can link up and share the kilometres!

🗓️ THE GAME PLAN:
• 3 structured runs per week dropped right here + 1 optional "Fun Run."
• In-Person Group Runs: Meeting live as a massive squad three times every block!

It occurs to me that some of our newer friends and followers don't know about my journey outside of running with Jess. So I thought I'd share.

The picture on the left is me around 400lbs.
The picture on the right is me today at 260lbs.

This transformation didn’t come from a detox, from fasting or a fad diet.
I didn't have to cut out entire food groups or count calories.
I didn't have to be "perfect".

It came from building habits I could actually live with.

I learned how to:

Build balanced meals
Eat consistently
Fuel my body properly
Move in ways I enjoy
Adapt when life gets messy because life WILL get messy.

That’s why sustainability matters more than perfection.

There are still weekends away.
Fast food runs.
Celebrations.
Stressful days.
Missed workouts.

But now I have a foundation strong enough to handle real life without spiraling. This journey taught me that sustainability will always beat perfection. And I learned that here.
