AWARD-WINNING CANADIAN CHEESE
L'Ancêtre Baluchon from Quebec was named Best Canadian Cheese at the 2024 Canadian Cheese Awards. It is an organic, semi-soft cow's milk cheese with a washed rind & a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture that tastes of hazelnut, cream & butter with a slight acidic tang & hints of clover. In addition to carrying their world-renowned brie & camembert, we also now stock Vancouver Island's own Natural Pastures Mozzarella di Bufala, an award-winning cheese made from free range water buffalo milk.
