We are proud we have the opportunity to work with the staff at fogo island inn and celebrating supporting local!

We work with farms, gardens, and markets that operate as close to home as possible. Located in Wooddale, NL, Mark's Market is a true family operation.

What began as a small wholesale farm in 1987 has grown into a market run by Richard Oram, his son Chris, and Chris's family, growing everything from apples to zucchini.

Working closely with our Executive Chef Tim Charles, the farm grows product that shapes our menus each season: “With Tim and Fogo Island Inn, we can really showcase the specialty items that we’re growing: ground cherries, radicchio, apples, plums, leeks, onions, raspberries, red and black currants, fresh herbs.”

This week we attended the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture gala to celebrate with our fellow farmers 50 years of advocating for the provincial agriculture industry. We are so proud to come home with this environmental award selected by the provincial agri food department. We’re glad to play our little part in growing healthy and environmentally sustained food for the people in our province.
