The best neighbours bring over a cup of sugar. Ours bring over artisan cheese. Lucky for us, Jeanie at A Counter Full is only a few steps away with incredible cheeses like Bleu Fumé, Tipsy, and La Madelaine.

This is Alfred le Fermier from La Station in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. This cheese is raw and organic. The wheels are washed by a robot (seriously) and aged on pine boards. The flavour is complex with fruit, caramel with a touch of a honey aroma.

Swing by for a taste and some awesome stories from my tour of La Station. The cows lay on water beds!
