Some pieces of history are too meaningful to leave behind. This classic Briars Dairy milk wagon — once lost and abandoned — was recovered by Eric Abugov with the intention of preserving a small but important piece of Gravenhurst history. His vision is to thoughtfully restore it and eventually bring it back to working life once again.

At Hale, we’re inspired by stories like this. Because while we’re building something new, we also believe in honouring the history and character that came before us.

Some of the most meaningful partnerships at Hale go deeper than business.

T&R Jones Farm isn’t just a vendor —
it’s a story that started here long before Hale became what it is today.

Back in 1989, Paul’s family purchased their farm after his father made a life-changing decision — leaving his career in finance to build something rooted in the land, alongside a family legacy of farming.

Not long after, they found their way to this very property.

Paul remembers being a small child here…
picking blackberries, selling them from a fruit stand, surrounded by a growing community his family helped shape.

They built the early vendor shacks.
They were part of what became the Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market.

And now — decades later —
he’s back.

Same land.
Same roots.
Full circle.

This is what Hale is about.
Connection. Legacy. Local.
