This week the Well Preserved team visited the zoo as a team building activity!

Team building isn’t about being the most professional in the group, it’s about creating a space for people to connect, be themselves and grow together.

When a team takes the time to learn about each other beyond titles and tasks, trust gets stronger, communication gets easier and collaboration becomes natural.

It’s Test Kitchen Thursday!!!

Today we tried a delicious recipe using our peach jam. We were able to make a bbq style sticky kielbasa sausage which is a great appetizer for a bbq or any occasion.

Here’s how to make it!

Sticky Kielbasa Recipe:

1. Cut 12 inch cooked kielbasa sausage into half moon shapes 1/4 inch thick

2. Drizzle tsp of olive oil in a non stick frying pan

3. Sear both sides of kielbasa on medium heat until golden brown

4. Remove from heat

5. In a bowl mix:
•1/2 cup well preserved peach jam
•1/4 cup ketchup
•5 tbsp brown sugar
•2 tbsp horseradish Dijon mustard (or any mustard
you prefer)
•(Optional)1-2 tsp chilli flakes or cayenne for a spicy
kick

6. Whisk until well combined

7. Pour sauce into pan with seared kielbasa and return to medium heat

8. Stir kielbasa until sauce bubbles and thickens to a super sticky consistency (sauce should not be liquid at all)

9. Remove kielbasa onto serving plate and allow them to cool for 5-10 minutes to get full flavour and texture
