Everyone has a knife that’s more "crush" than "cut." We can fix that.

We’ve got another sharpening event happening next week. Just drop off your blades by 6 p.m. Thursday, August 6. They’ll be ready Friday afternoon.

Price is $1.60 per blade inch, so about $13 for an 8-inch chef's knife. Serrated knives, scissors, and other kitchen tools are welcome. Bring them wrapped in a towel or a sheath.

Beemster Graskaas is back!

Each spring, Beemster's cows leave their winter barns and return to the fresh grass of the Beemster Polder. Their first spring milking is used to make Graskaas, a special Gouda produced just once a year. Its name translates simply as "grass cheese."

Aged for only about one month, it's exceptionally smooth and creamy, with a fresh flavour and gentle sweetness.

Only 1,000 wheels are exported outside the Netherlands each year, and our wheel of the 2026 Graskaas has just arrived.

Once it's gone, it won't return until next summer. Get your wedge in the shop or online through the link in our bio.
