Backyard Harvest is an urban organic farm growing in 10 Strathcona backyards and 1 institutional site in Snake Road. We grow delicious vegetables right in our neighbourhood! We’re at Locke Street Farmers' Market every Saturday morning from 9-noon, corner of Locke & Herkimer Streets.

It has really begun! We should have tomatoes past 10 am tomorrow morning folks! Get to Locke Street Farmers' Market as soon as you can for these lovelies and tons more!!! Love ya! Shout out to our incredible staff for covering me while my family and I got a great getaway to the beach this week!!!

Tons of Green and Yellow Beans, Tomatoes, Garlic, All the Salad Mixes, Arugula, Green Onions, Beets, Carrots, Radishes, Mustard/Mizuna, Eggplant, Peppers, Salad Turnips, Leaf Lettuce and Romaine Heads, Kales, Chard, Loads of Basil and other herbs and Zucchini!!! Can’t wait to see you!!

Ready to make some relish!!?? Our cucumbers are doing so well, we’re ready to sell them by the half bushel. A dozen quarts would be $72 by the each at our stand, GET 12 quarts (1/2 bushel) FOR $40!! They make excellent relish or bread and butter pickles!!!

Dear Customers! We will be at the Locke Street Farmers' Market on Saturday July 18th despite air quality or rain! The farm keeps producing!! Please come and support us. Don’t let Loblaws win!! We will have plenty of our Salad Mixes, Arugula, oodles of Cucumbers and Zucchini, Kale, Chard, our deliciously sweet Carrots, Beets, Green Onions, Radishes, Fresh Garlic, Mustard/Mizuna, Garlic Scapes, Lettuce heads, Rhubarb, Red Currants and all of our fresh herbs!
