Im so sick at the moment and have no voice. Just whispers ...
So all I could do is load her up and take her in. No phone call. I just showed up.
They took her in right away and got her all fixed up.
She is now rocking a full sleeve. ✌🏻

First flower picking of the season!🪴

These truly are my favorite kind of flowers 😉

This year I think I'll leave the rest to mature into ferns.

It helps establish a better root system.
My crowns aren't young by no means...
But they have been relocated a couple times and grazed upon by a rogue cow...or two 🤨

Asparagus truly is the most wonderful Vegetable.

Just imagine... a perennial (a plant that requires minimal work that comes back every year) that you can actually enjoy as a decorative fern in your yard , or a side dish on your plate.

THAT right there is pretty cool 😎

Oh and it's high in fiber, vitamin k, folate and vitamin A

Although my plot of Asparagus isn't small nor large ( 10/15 plants), I think I'll be going to the neighbors Edgar Farms to scoop up some freshly harvested Asparagus.
They are the real experts when it comes to this fascinating lill green vegetable!

My plan is to frezze dry some whole and in chunks for future soups,
Pickle some and feast of some.

Looking forward to the summer season 🌞

Im just out checking the garlic and saying morning to the ladies over a cup of coffee.
What is everyone up to today?
I think we will process some fire wood and maybe clear a bush line up , before the hay is up.

Her first calf is named lill Smoke and is a dun colored heifer
What should we name this lill gal?

Trying to stay with smokey ish pattern...

Even though she's not smokey in color. 😅

So no Susan or Tara names please....

But I do like the name Susan and Tara 😆

After some careful consideration and consulting with a friend (thank you Joel Ginger Christian ).... we finally got our camera ordered, retrofitted on the longest oil field pipe ive ever seen... stayed married and alive while installing it🙌🏼

Ill include a picture of said pipe with camera on it in comments a little later today 😅

Oh...and lookey look.... hubs made it possible for me to sing my chickens lullabies at night 🌙

Bought a new 650 gallon water trough yesterday, fixed the water bowl down the hill , cleaned the chicken coop , fixed their feeder...had a meeting with the cows and filled up the bird feeders on the back deck 🫶
