Got our Food Premise Approval as a Food Processing Plant. Now we can legally make our infused honeys.
Do all you beekeepers know that as soon as you add something to honey, it's not honey anymore, it is now a food product?

Good morning everyone. We are in the search for a suitable property to move some beehives to. One of our current bee yards is on a property that is being sold and the new owners do not want them there.
A suitable property would be a minimum of 10 acres with flat and dry space away from houses and areas used by people. We would need drive up access for Spring Summer and Fall. For rent we pay in honey from your land.
If you own a suitable property and would like to help bees and get some honey please let us know.
Thanks.

A customer brought in a sticky board so we could help her count Varroa Mites. 24 hour drop was 50. Not a good sign at the end of August. Mite drop should be below 3.
If you want your bees to live through winter, keep those mites under control. A mite free Hive in August can raise healthy Winter bees that have a better chance of living through winter.
Confused about mites? Call us. We will help.
