I will be having the one year memorial for Jay on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Adams Lake Indian Band little hall. The one next to the spiritual centre where we had his wake. Details to follow. But, the purpose of the memorial is just as important as the wake and the funeral. It is the end of mourning. I will be having a meal and a giveaway there and hope that his family and friends will be able to make it. We will feast and celebrate

Well folks, Yako's Diner, the business taking over Jay's is opening tomorrow (Thursday) for lunch! Let's all show another young man our support and good wishes for great success! Hope to see you all there!

Well, the end is near. The Diner didn't sell. But, there will be a new operator there, Shawn, operating under the name "Yacko's Diner". I truly wish him all the best. Its a great location and me and Jay built a beautiful kitchen and a beautiful location to enjoy a delicious meal. So although it is bittersweet, I am looking forward to Shawn making a great success on the foundation we built. Not sure when his is going to start serving but keep your eyes open and give him a chance. I can tell you from my chats with him, he has a good attitude about food. Jay would like that!

Everything from colanders to coolers is for sale at Jay's. Sale starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday September 14 at Jay's at 340 Victoria Street. Everything needed to run a restaurant is available for sale including large and small equipment.

Saturday, September 14 will be a "yard sale" at Jay's Good Eats. On one has bought the Diner and so I have to sell off the equipment. Lots of cool kitchen stuff for sale. Sale starts at 11:00 Saturday, September 14 at the diner.
