Tomorrow, the Kelowna Farmers’ & Crafters’ Market turns 31 🎈

And for Rosemarie and Greg of Studio Papillon, that milestone feels especially meaningful. They were there in the early days when the market was held at Orchard Park Mall, helping shape the community that exists today.

For more than three decades, they’ve been creating beautiful pottery, meeting customers, and showing up market after market. Their story is a reminder that the market isn’t just built on products—it’s built on people who dedicate years, and sometimes decades, to being part of something bigger.

Happy 31st birthday to the market, and thank you to vendors like Rosemarie and Greg who have been part of the journey from the beginning. ❤️

June is one of the more abundant months of the year in the Okanagan.

Meet Steve from Forbes Family Farm. 👋

Together with his brother, he’s been farming organically in Oliver, BC for over 35 years — a decision rooted in something much deeper than just farming.

After their mother was diagnosed with cancer, they made the shift to organic, choosing to put health first and care for the land in a way that supports the ecosystems around them.

It’s more work. It takes more time. But for Steve, it’s always been worth it.

Food grown with intention, care, and a whole lot of heart. ❤️
