With school starting back, I just wanted to share a little reminder that I think is important. ❤️
Say hi to the child standing alone.
Sit with the child who has no one to sit with.
Include the new child.
Talk to the quiet child.
If you see someone being left out, invite them in.
We never really know what another child is going through or how hard it might have been for them just to walk through those doors that morning.
You don’t have to be friends with everyone. You don’t have to like everyone.
But you can be kind.
Sometimes a simple “hey, come sit with us” can mean more to someone than they will ever know.
Let’s raise children who notice when someone needs a little kindness.
The world could use a lot more of that. ❤️
