Welcoming author Katherine Ward!
Katherine Ward is the author of two women’s fiction novels: Another Glass of Tea and Skipping Stones. She enjoys writing about strong women and their circles while exploring themes of love of friends, of family and of place, with a small dollop of romance thrown in for fun.
Katherine caught the writing bug when she won her first writing competition at age twelve. A school year in Istanbul in the mid 1980s saw Katherine sending columns back to her local newspaper, The Sarnia Observer, chronicling her experiences. She went on to earn a Journalism
degree and enjoyed a 30-year career helping Canadian companies tell their stories, before turning her attention to writing stories of her own.
In a case of life imitating art, Katherine and her husband split time between Toronto and the Kawartha Lakes. When she’s not gardening or belting out show tunes in the car, she loves to hike
and travel. Katherine plans to release her next novel, a follow-up to Skipping Stones, in 2026.
