Cherry season has wrapped up, and a new chapter has begun here in the orchard.

We have plums, early apples, and continental grapes now ready for u-pick, with more crops still to come in the weeks ahead.

This time of year, each walk through the orchard looks a little different than the last. We’ll keep you posted as crops come into season in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

Every spring, the orchard is full of blossoms, and before those blossoms become apples, cherries, or plums, they need help from thousands of our hardworking pollinator friends.

It’s one of the reasons we’re grateful to have Blossom Beeworks hives right here in the orchard. Throughout the season, the bees pollinate our fruit trees while gathering nectar from the orchard and the many flowers we’ve planted to bloom from early spring through late fall. Their work supports our harvest, but it also supports the health of the surrounding ecosystem.

As the bees move through the orchard, they’re creating something special of their own 🍯. Our Orchard Blend honey is back in stock in the market this week, and because it’s produced in limited batches, it doesn’t stay on the shelves for long. So if you’ve been hoping to take a jar home with you, now’s a great time to stop by!

We’ve been brewing something new, and tomorrow you’ll be able to try it for the first time.

Our new Bourbon Barrel Cider is ready to pour after spending time aging in bourbon barrels, adding warm notes of vanilla, oak, and caramel to each bottle.

We’ll be open all day tomorrow for BC Day, and we’d love to see you.

We’re excited to be starting something new this Sunday. Throughout the rest of the summer, our Sunday BBQ will be supporting the Lake Country Food Bank. Each week, $2 from every hot dog and smokie sold will go toward a different project. This Sunday’s BBQ will support the Food Bank’s school smoothie program.

We’re grateful for all the work the Lake Country Food Bank does in our community, and we’re happy to play a small part in supporting this amazing organization.

If you’re planning to spend some time at the orchard this weekend, we’d love to have you join us for a meal. We’ll have hot dogs, smokies, hamburgers, and fresh corn!

We’re serving cold brew made with Urla Coffee Roaster and milk from Grass Root Dairies (if that’s your style).

Later this summer, the team from Urla will be hosting us for some barista training, and we’re looking forward to learning a few new things and we can’t wait to share them with you!
