Dry Land Butchering has sides of beef available for cutting and wrapping. Price is $6.30/lb on rail weight. Rail weights are 350-400lb on a half. Dry Land Butchering has pigs available for custom cutting right now. They are in the cooler and looking for a home. Price is $3.40/lb cut and wrapped to your specifications. Dry Land Butchering has 4 sides of beef available for custom cutting and wrapping. These sides are hanging in the cooler right now and will be cut up June 16th-20th. Give us a call to get your name on one of these sides before they are gone. We will not have any sides available after this until November or possibly December. Price is $6.17/lb on rail weight plus slaughter for a side is $70. This price includes cut, wrap and freeze. Done to your specifications. We have lots of other products available all summer while supplies last if you are needing anything meaty. Call us at (306) 628-3329.

** Update**
Our month of March is almost booked full. If you are wanting processing done this spring best to give us a call and get it booked in before these dates are gone. Currently looking for a full time wrapper and meat cutter to start immediately. No experience required for wrapper but must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift 50lb. Meat cutter must be experienced in using a knife for deboning and running processing equipment. Cutter must also be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50+lb.

Dry Land Butchering will be closed until October 15th. This is to do equipment maintenance and upgrades. We will still be taking bookings for custom slaughter and processing for the fall during this time. There will be nobody to answer the phone during this time but please leave your name and number and we will return your calls. We still have some products available but are very limited in supply. If you’d like to place an order for any products we will be filling all orders beginning of October.

We are currently booking for custom slaughter end of October so if you are wanting to get an animal in best to book now before spaces are gone.

We are also looking to hire a full time experienced meat cutter as well as 2 full time wrappers/ deboners. If you are looking for a career change or know of somebody wanting a change we are hiring. Wages dependent on experience. Must be physically fit and able to stand long periods of time and lift 50lb.

Canada Day long weekend is supposed to be spent with friends and family. Some gather at the cabin and beach others may gather at the campsite and ranchers well we gather at the field. Whether it’s chopping silage or cutting and baling hay.

Today we got all hands on deck for the 2024 rye silage. Right from the 60+ down to the 15 month old who loves anything to do with being outside.

Dry Land Butchering is currently looking for a full time meat wrapper and a full time experienced meat cutter.

We are located 30km southwest of Leader Saskatchewan.

No experience necessary for meat wrapper position. This position will require candidates to wrap and label raw meat products as well as vac pack cooked products. Will also be required to help with cleaning of processing equipment. Candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50lb.

Experience is required for meat cutter position. Candidate must have basic knowledge of both beef and pork cuts and be able to operate processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires candidate to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift over 50lb.

This is a fast paced environment. Processing area is kept at a cool temperature as well.
