Lindsay Farmers' Market. Since 1859. One of the longest running markets in Ontario, it's a great place to ask questions and learn how produce gets from the farm to your table.

The farmer's market is open from May to October , every Saturday from 7 to 1 and Thursday from 10 to 3pm. Established in 1859, the Lindsay Farmer's Market has over 35 vendors offering everything from local in-season farm fresh produce and meat, maple syrup, jam & jellies, honey specialties, take-home dinners, or even hot & tasty pepper sauces, flowers, herbs, home baking, wood furniture, crafts, f

air trade organic coffee, soaps, jewelry, paintings from local artists, music and much more! The market is full knowledgable people, making it a great place to ask questions and learn how produce gets from the farm to your table.

It's Lindsay Farmer's Market Day, and also the exciting KIDS CUCUMBER CONTEST DAY!

We invite you to bring your children to join in the fun as we provide them with a container, soil, and cucumber seeds to take home and grow. They'll need to return on August 16th for the final contest, where they might just win a prize!

Despite a bit of wind, our fantastic vendors are here to help you find everything you need for a wonderful weekend meal.

Our Thursday Lindsay Farmer's Market is open until 3 PM, featuring an exciting lineup of new vendors.

Come warm up with a hot beverage and treat yourself to delicious hot dogs or other comforting food options.

Don’t forget to grab a sweet dessert for yourself and some tasty dog treats for your furry friends.

In addition to these delights, we offer fresh vegetables, plants, handmade soaps, wooden decorations, and much more.

By visiting, you’re supporting local farmers and small businesses, making a positive impact in our community.

The Thursday Lindsay farmers market will be open every Thursday from 10am to 3pm at the Wilson fields behind Loblaws in Lindsay Ontario from May to mid October (Thanksgiving).

🥒🥒 KID’S CUCUMBER CONTEST

On Saturday, May 30st 2025, you can plant a cucumber seed at the market.
We provide everything you need! Take your planted seed home and watch it
grow, grow, grow!

Each child age 1-12 will be given 2 seeds to better your odds. One cucumber entry per child is permitted.

Entries are for the seed / cucumber given at the market only.
(We have chosen a specific variety)

You will also be given a complimentary lettuce plant to take home and grow.
Bring your cucumber back to the Farmers’ Market in August (we will update with the exact date later)

🥇 Prizes are:
- Longest Cucumber: 1st Place $30 market bucks. 2nd Place $20 market bucks. 3rd place 10$
- Heaviest Cucumber: 1st Place $30 market bucks. 2nd Place $20 market bucks. 3rd place 10$
- Fattest Cucumber : 1st Place $30 market bucks. 2nd Place $20 market bucks. 3rd place 10$

One child can only one of the three categories and prize levels.

When you bring your cucumber back in August 22nd, we will record your name, phone #, length, weight, and circumference.
We will phone the winner at the end of the market at 1:00pm.
