Today we say goodbye to Tjeerd, who was and will remain an important part of our bakery. Years ago our bakery was inspired in part by a boterkoek from Tjeerd and Atie's Windmill Bakery in Huntsville. We are grateful for Tjeerd showing up out of the blue looking for part time work, he brought years of experience and great Dutch recipes to us. Thank you, Tjeerd, we will miss you.

We have a few of these cuties left! As well as lots of dinner rolls, pies and hot cross buns for your easter dinner. We are open until 3. We are closing dow for next week for a little break before the busy summer ahead. Have a happy easter and a better week!

The people have spoken! Will all of your comments, messages, texts and in-store feedback we have compiled our favourites box! We have a cinnamon pretzel, sunflower rosemary mini Artisan Bread, strawberry cream cheese strudel, lemon loaf and topped off with a chocolate macaroon. We had a lot of fun with this, and hoped everyone e enjoyed the boxes... as well as this one.

We are so proud to be crowned "Best in Town"!
Our great staff helped put our samplers together and really owned promoting the sampler boxes, as well as the promotion. Also I would like to thank the Chamber of commerce for running this event... it really made this long winter go by a lot quicker. And of course all of the customers who enjoyed our 6 weeks of boxes and voted us #1. Next week we would like to do a favourites box. We would like your feedback on what your favourites were in all of the boxes.

So this is it! Last week of the taste of listowel trail. A great event organized by the north perth chamber of commerce. We have enjoyed doing this, coming up with new ideas each week. This box might be my favourite . For this week we have included an apple raspberry beignet, a piece of lemon loaf, our English muffin.... if you havent had one of ours, you haven't had one! And finished off with a banana peanut butter donut ( available without peanut also)

I hope that everyone enjoyed their valentines and family day weekend.
It's a slippery start to the day... hopefully most of the ice misses us and we just get some rain.
This week's sampler is ready to go! In the box this week has a garlic & Cheese swirl, an ultimate brownie, a honey dipped donut and a butter tart. A nice little variety this week. It's a lovely day outside today! We have lots of sweet treats for your valentine. Also we have some decorate your own cookie kits for the little ones. I hope everyone has a great family day weekend. We will be closed on Tuesday for our staff to be with their families.

Red is the theme this week! Our box has it this week: a Raspberry turnover, strawberry white chocolate scone, a cherry roll with a vanilla icing and finished off with our pizza bun. Get them while they last. While you are in store, look for our Valentines treats!

So... the groundhog says early spring! Let's hope w***y is right this time.
For now we will keep enjoying making some new things and letting you try them. This week's box has a pineapple turnover, an apple cinnamon bun, a cheese and herb bagel and finished off with an orange pineapple muffin. A nice selection, still only $5. I hope everyone is enjoying the taste of listowel trail. We are getting out there and trying some product from places in town that we have never been to before.

Another week, another sampler!
This week our box consists of a dill pickle fritters... a delicious donut with shredded dill pickle mixed throughout, and glazed with a sweet glaze with pickle juice and a touch of lemon. Also an apple cinnamon scone, a decorated sugar cookie, a blondie square ( a brownie without the chocolate) and finished off with an original mini Artisan loaf. We will be making boxes daily all week! If the Fritter entices you.. we have small boxes of them available also.
