Each morning is a trip to the fields to see whats new . This morning I was greeted with some ripe tomatoes. This is the earliest we have had field tomatoes ripen . The early varieties are called Kalinka Early and a 42 day tomato.

Memories on Father's day. Our dad was always one for making us laugh and playing pranks and he also loved having icecream. I remember for dessert his usual statement when seeing what we wanted was saying " we have plain, white and vanilla ice cream which one would you like?".
In honour of dad we have 1 free container of vanilla icecream per family today while supplies last.

Susie from Mensen farm just dropped off some fresh picked strawberries . They are Wendy Strawberries today. No they are not named after me but Susie and I always get a good chuckle that Wendy gets to sell Wendy berries 🍓😄

Mike and I have been busy roasting and picking produce to restock the shelves with fresh roasted Furnace Falls Coffee beans and our farm fresh picked produce . An added bonus some fresh bunches of dill, parsley, lemon balm and mint from our friends at Meadow Sun Nursery and Gardens.
