One of my favourite markets is right here in . 🤎
Over the years, I’ve met so many beautiful humans from all walks of life, and this weekend is extra special because my mom, dad, kids and husband are all here joining in the festivities. 🥰
One of the main reasons we got into alpacas was because I was inspired by Ross Hinter. Together, we were teaching trapping camp for kids, where we taught them some of the skills needed to survive and thrive in the bush.
One thing we talked about was how important it is to regulate your body temperature — and how natural fibres like wool help keep you warm.
My own kids struggled with wool because of the itchiness and sensory issues. And that’s where our alpaca journey began. (With an eye roll or two from my husband ) 😂
Alpaca fibre is incredibly soft, naturally moisture-wicking, and wonderfully warm — without that scratchy feeling that can make traditional wool difficult for some people to wear.
Years later, here we are. ❤️
Still helping people get outside. Still teaching kids to connect with the natural world. Still working with our hands and the animals that provide us with these incredible fibres.
There’s something magical about getting away from the noise, stepping into nature, and remembering what really matters.
The quieter it gets, the stronger the connection becomes. 🌲🦙🤎
