Happy Workiversary! . . . please join us in congratulating Tracy Erickson on 10 years!
Tracy began her Co-op journey on May 6, 2016 starting as a casual clerk. A little over a year of casual work, she moved into a full-time role in File Maintenance where she became a pillar of the location, continuing to grow and support the team. One year ago, almost to the day, her dedication and strong work ethic awarded her an exciting milestone. She was promoted to Home Center Manager at the Archerwill Home Centre and continues to lead by example and support her team.
When asked what makes a great Co-op day, she shared that Customer Appreciation Days are her favourite. Hosting BBQs and connecting with customers in a small community setting is something she truly enjoys. She also shared that the service aspect of her work, helping customers find lumber, feed, hardware and anything in between is at the heart of what she loves to do. No matter the request, she always does her best to lend a hand.
Her go-to Co-op recommendation? Centsible hotdogs, her grandkids love them! She always has them on hand because they love to eat them right out of the bag, although Tracy enjoys her hotdogs cooked.
One of the things she values most about her workplace is the fun, positive atmosphere. At her location, laughter is part of the daily routine. From lighthearted teasing with regular customers to joking around with coworkers, it’s clear that teamwork and good spirits make the workday even better.
Her dedication to customers, commitment to service, and pride in Co-op values make her an important part of both the team and the community. Thank you Tracy for your years of service, your leadership, and everything you do to make Prairie North Co-op a great place to shop and work. Congratulations on 10 years!
