If you are looking to get together for a meal we have some great options for you including:

Good Afternoon All!

We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the fall! Where does the time go?!

A few announcements to kick off the season:

1. Expanded Smoked Products - We invite you to come try some of our new cured and smoked products, including a variety of beef jerky, pepperonis and other snacking sausages. We are playing with some new recipes and taking requests! Also of note: while we do not cut game, if you have some trim or meat if your freezer that you would made into pepperoni or jerky for you - we can help!

2. Best Butcher Shop - Thank you Merritt for honouring us with the 2025 Reader's Choice for Merritt's Best Butcher Shop. We are humbled and grateful to everyone who voted. To our customers - you all made 2025 a special year and we are dedicated to continue and improve our service to every one of you!

3. CLOSED for Remembrance Day - we will be closed this upcoming Tuesday in observance of Remembrance Day. Let us hope and pray for world peace. Lest we forget.

We hope you all had a great summer. After a brief break from posting, we would like to share some news and offerings heading into fall:

1. Local Lamb Week
We have some beautiful pasture raised Nicola Valley Lambs coming in this week. Now is a great chance fill your fill your freezer with custom cut legs, loin and shoulder chops and more. Whole lambs available for $12.50/lb on the rail, cut and wrap included. Weights expected to range from 40-60+ lbs. Select cuts will also be available in the case.

2. Thanksgiving Turkeys and Hams
So much to be thankful for this fall, including the food that we eat! For your gatherings, we are offering fresh Free Range Turkeys, Old Fashioned Bone-in hams and more. All ethically raised on family farms, in BC, without hormones and antibiotics.
