We like to share a Thanksgiving message every year.
This year we had to copy a post from Farmer Tim (Follow him on Facebook)
It so reflects our thoughts about being Farmers
Adapted from Farmer Tim, thanks
While many people are setting the table today, farmers have already been at work setting the table for the whole country
One harvest, one chore and one early morning at a time.
Thanksgiving means something extra special when you are a farmer. It’s not just about turkey and pie (though we love those too!).
It’s about being grateful for the land that sustains us, the Apples we care for, the rain when it comes, and the hard work of every Canadian farmer who keeps our food supply safe, sustainable and homegrown. 🌾🥛
We’re thankful to live in a country where we can grow and raise food we’re proud to feed our own families and yours. That’s what food sovereignty is - knowing our meals come from Canadian soil, cared for by people who love what they do. ❤️
So today, when you pass the gravy, take a moment to give thanks and not just for the feast on the table, but also for the fields, the farmers, and the freedom that made it possible.
From all of us at our farms — Happy Thanksgiving, Canada! 🇨🇦🍁
There is always room for everyone at our harvest table 🌾
What are YOU thankful for? 🤔
