Mozza Garlic Butter Chicken Penne
Ingredients
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 Tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp roasted garlic and pepper seasoning
Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Cook the pasta until al dente (a little bit hard), drain and set aside
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and season with Italian seasoning, paprika, salt and pepper
Cook for 6-8 minutes or until the chicken is brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and saute for about 30 seconds
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer
Stir in shredded mozza, grated parmesan, roasted garlic & pepper, and garlic powder
Continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy
Add the pasta and cooked chicken back into the skillet
Stir everything together until the pasta is well coated in the sauce
Simmer for 2-3 minutes
