What a beautiful spring day, finally! Looks like we have another few nice days ahead of us too before heading into a rainy weekend again. Whether it’s for a sunny backyard picnic, or a quiet rainy day dinner, might as well make it a lobster feast!

Captained by Musquodoboit Harbour local Tim Jennings, the boat Underqualified, fishes for lobster every spring here on the Eastern Shore. Through poor weather, changing water temperatures, boat maintenance, and ever-changing lobster prices, we work hard every day to try and make an honest living, and do so safely.

This year, the team aboard the boat and the supporting team on dry land are working together to sell live, fresh lobsters to our community. We do cash sales from home, and today we attended our very first farmers’ market right here in Musquodoboit Harbour.
