Who's ready for another beautiful Saturday at the Nelson Farmers Market? ☀️🌿

Join us tomorrow at Cottonwood Falls Park from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm for a market packed with fresh produce, local food, talented artisans, and some exciting new vendors making their market debut!

The cherries have officially arrived and the produce tables are looking absolutely incredible right now. From farm fresh vegetables to locally made treats, there is no better time to shop local and fill your basket.

Be sure to stick around for our Saturday Sessions at the Falls featuring Morien Jones from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm. Morien is a talented singer songwriter from Victoria whose laid back sound blends acoustic and electric guitar, live looping, and influences from artists like Jack Johnson and John Mayer, with a few Brazilian and Latin favorites mixed in for good measure.

Come hungry because we have some fantastic food vendors on site, including a few new additions for you to discover!

🎶 Do we have a special treat for this week’s Saturday Sessions at the Falls! 🎶

Please join us in welcoming Morien Jones, all the way from Victoria, BC!

Morien Jones is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Victoria. Using live looping, he layers bass, electric guitar, and acoustic guitar to create a rich, full sound that captivates audiences. His musical style is reminiscent of artists like Jack Johnson and John Mayer, while also incorporating popular Brazilian and Latin songs performed in Portuguese and Spanish.

With more than 20 years of experience performing across Western Canada, Morien has shared his music at festivals, theatres, and venues of all sizes. We are thrilled to have him join us this Saturday at Cottonwood Falls Park!

Who is ready for another Wednesday Nelson Farmers Market on Baker Street? ☀️🌻

We are in for a beautiful, warm day at the market! Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in downtown Nelson for an incredible lineup of local farmers, food producers, makers, and artisans.

We also have several new vendors joining us this week, so be sure to come down and see what's new!

And don't forget to make your way over to Hall Street Plaza, where you'll find even more amazing artisan vendors, a relaxing lavender experience, delicious lunch options, and of course, dessert, all in one spot.

🌞 Welcome to another edition of the Nelson Farmers Market at Cottonwood Falls Park!

Join us tomorrow from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM for a beautiful day at the market.

First, a huge congratulations to all of this weekend's graduates and to the parents, families, and friends who helped get them there. 🎓 You did it!

Got family and friends in town to celebrate? Bring them down to the park for some live music 🎶, delicious local food, and a chance to explore the incredible products created by our talented vendors. Convince them you're a graduate and that you absolutely need a graduation gift from one of our many artisan vendors. We won't tell them otherwise!

And speaking of food, we have even more food options joining us this week. Looking for lunch before an afternoon of ceremonies, grand marches, and celebrations? We've got you covered. 🍴

🎶 We're coming at you again with another double-header edition of Saturday Sessions at the Falls! 🎶

The fun kicks off at 9:00 AM with 13-year-old classical guitarist Yili McGregor! Yili has been playing guitar for around five years, and this will be his very first live performance. Be sure to come down and show this talented young musician some support as he takes the stage for the first time!

And then... because we love making the most of our Saturdays... Mika Moon takes over from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM!

You might remember Mika Moon from our Harvest Fest celebration last fall. Mika is a singer-songwriter from the mountain town of Nelson, BC, and a recent graduate of Selkirk College’s music program. A Kootenay kid through and through, Mika brings a grab bag of musical influences to every performance, including show tunes, jazz standards, indie folk, and her own jazzy-folksy original music. No matter the style, Mika focuses on the message behind a song and uses music to create meaningful connections with her audience.

It looks like we're in for our first truly sunny market day of the season, so come on down to Cottonwood Falls Park, grab your veggies, treat yourself to a snack and a beverage, and enjoy some FREE live music while you shop! ☀️🎶

Come on out tomorrow and support our incredible lineup of vendors from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on the 600 block of Baker Street and Hall Street Plaza. 🥕

And don't worry, our beloved is still at the market! You'll now find them in front of Pharmasave, the perfect spot to grab a snack and join the line for those fresh, locally grown veggies. 🥖

Food that doesn’t have to travel thousands of kilometres can be harvested when it’s ready, not weeks before it’s ready. That means fresher food, incredible flavour, and a stronger connection to where your food comes from.

The old myth that farmers markets are always more expensive is fading fast.

🎉 Saturday at the Market is shaping up to be a good one! 🎉

Join us tomorrow at Cottonwood Falls Park from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for a day full of local food, live music, community, and family fun.

🎶 We're excited to welcome not one, but TWO musicians to keep the park buzzing throughout the day.

🌿 The Indigenous Friendship Collective will be joining us, sharing information about their programs and services.

🎨 Be sure to stop by and visit Dani Black, an Art Therapy student who will be offering creative, hands-on activities for kids and families.

🥕 Shop fresh produce, locally raised meats, artisan baking, handcrafted goods, and so much more from your favourite market vendors.

Whether you're picking up your weekly groceries, grabbing lunch, listening to live music, or simply enjoying a morning in the park, there's something for everyone.

🎶 Double the music, double the fun! 🎶

Also happening this Saturday, we have not one, but TWO incredible musical guests joining us at the Nelson Farmers Market!

Kicking things off from 10:00am to 12:00pm, Jitensha Music will be rolling into Nelson as part of their cross Canada tour. Their sound is an effervescent blend of honey sweet indie pop and neo psychedelia, weaving together catchy melodies, bright grooves, and thoughtful lyrics inspired by the environment, psychology, and universal love. But wait, we're not done yet!

To keep the good vibes flowing all day long, Luke Mason will take the stage from 12:30pm to 1:30pm with his signature acoustic alternative rock. A born and raised Nelsonite, Luke is one of those people who seems to make our community better simply by being part of it. Many of you will recognize him as the lead hand at the Nelson and District Youth Centre, where he spends his days helping support local youth. As if that wasn't enough, he is also about to become a published author, with his upcoming book The Liberal Soul set for release later this year.

Come shop local, support local, and soak up some seriously good tunes. We can't wait to see you there! 🎵❤️
