NEW: Weekly Organic Produce Boxes!

We’re excited to introduce this new program to help ensure we can continue to offer organic produce in our community through the cooler months.

Get a fresh selection of certified organic fruits and vegetables every week, conveniently packed and ready for pickup.

Small Box - $50/week | Large Box - $75/week

Each box will include a variety of produce and you can give us up to two standing preferences. For example, “no bananas” or “please include potatoes when available!"

Pickup: Thursdays after 12 PM through Saturdays at 5:30 PM

There is a 6-week minimum commitment, with options to pause for vacations or planned absences.

It’s Solana’s birthday! She turns 18 today and her last day at Silverton General Store is tomorrow, August 22nd. Solana has worked with us for two years and is now heading off to Victoria for school and work.

Solana has been a joyful member of our team and will be missed greatly! Please join us in wishing her a very happy birthday and bittersweet farewell. 💕💕💕

A little Thanksgiving dinner between a Kootenay Bakery Cafe Co-op bagel. 🥯 🍂

The Gratitude Bagel has turkey (sometimes chicken), goat cheese, mixed greens and cranberry mayo. Avocado can be added!

This one is inspired by family, tradition, and the many things I’m grateful for, especially this beautiful community that makes Silverton General Store what it is.
