We have our planning hats on and we're getting down to business!
Stay tuned for updates as we roll out season 3 of the New Germany Farmers Market! It is shaping up to be an even bigger and better year.

Our next planning meeting is March 19th, we will be figuring our roles and responsibilities this season as well as getting our vendor form ready.

🌟 CELEBRATING 1 YEAR OF COMMUNITY COOKS! 🌟

Can you believe that for the last year we have been meeting every month to make food for the community fridge!? This wouldn't be possible without the incredible support of an epic group of volunteers. We take turns leading and planning the meals, and every week, we see new faces. This gathering featured some chicken dancing, and we made split pea and ham soup, chicken and bacon easar salad with homemade dressing and croutons. To top is off, we made a ton of sugar cookies in Halloween shapes.

Thank you, everyone! We can't wait to see you in November.

A big thank you to our volunteers Amanda, Vic, William, and Blaine. Our volunteers are what keep the community so fun and make sure the market bucks get counted, the volunteers have snacks, the hall is set up, the social media posts get posted, and new tents get purchased.

We couldn't do any of this without the incredible team of people who live in our community. If you are hoping to join us next year as part of our volunteer team, we encourage you! There is always something for everyone to do, and we promise you'll have fun!

The volunteer photos continue! 📸

Coming together to bring this market to life has been a great way to build new connections. We have had the joy of seeing businesses and babies grow!

This crew of volunteers makes sure we always lock up the hall, sweep, put everything back where it should be, coordinate merch, paint our signage, take down tents, carry all our tables and chairs away, and put up posters.

Let's say a big thank you to our volunteers, featuring:
JOE, THERESA, MAGGIE, BRYNN

This farmers market comes together with the help of so many volunteers who work behind the scenes and up front and center at the info booth. Some of the many tasks include writing grants, collecting vendor applications, submitting permits, setting up every week, and building and painting signs.

These are just some of the faces that make our market a beautiful, intergenerational, and kind place to hang out.

🫑🎉🎃🍂 That's a wrap!!

Thank you to everyone who came out this season to support the New Germany Farmers Market. Musicians, vendors, volunteers, and customers alike! This market supports small local growers, bakers, and makers. And it provides a welcoming a fun hangout space for local residents. We've seen vendors launch new business ideas and do so successfully they can expand to other markets, buy themselves new equipment, upgrade their tables, and introduce new products. We've seen new connections made, artist collaborations sparked, and so many fun moments dancing.

When you spend your dollars on local goods at our market, you support the economy of our rural community! So thank you, everyone, for showing up each week and for supporting our market!
