My family has been fishing as far back as four generations. Growing up during the summer months I worked on the fishing docks, off-loading boats. I attended Saint Mary’s University in Halifax studying sociology. It was where I met my beautiful wife Andi. I first moved to Ontario in 2004. I had a number of different jobs in the financial industry, but it never worked out for me. In between careers
I always gravitated towards construction. In 2010 I enrolled in the Civil Engineering program at Georgian College and graduated two years later. I currently work for a small company who designs and supplies underground storm water systems. Coming from the east coast, a lot of people would ask me about my life growing up. One thing people would always talk about is the access to fresh seafood. With my father still working in the industry in Cape Breton, I saw an opportunity to provide fresh east coast seafood. This is when Camden’s Dock Seafood Shop was born.
