Our second Norwood Market of the 2026 season is coming up on Saturday, June 20th, and we are so excited to welcome everyone back for another incredible morning of shopping local, supporting small businesses, and connecting with our amazing community 💛

One of the best parts of market season is getting to showcase the talented makers, growers, bakers, artisans, and entrepreneurs who make each market unique.

🐦Birdy Talk Seed Co.

A family-run operation based in Hastings, Ontario. Every batch of seed is hand-blended in their workshop using only premium, high-fat, high-energy ingredients. No wheat, no milo, no corn — just the food birds actually love to eat. Their mission is simple: help you attract more birds to your backyard while wasting less seed on the ground. They believe that when you use quality ingredients, the birds come running (or flying)!

As we continue through our 2026 season, we would love to welcome even more local growers to the market. Whether you grow fresh vegetables, fruit, flowers, herbs, plants, seedlings, hanging baskets, farm fresh eggs, or other locally grown products, we'd love to hear from you 💛

🎨 Lakeside Creations

I have been painting for over 40 years with Acrylics that have included Seasonal Landscapes, Nature and fun things like Gnomes and such. All of my paintings at this time are on Wooden Circles, Live Edge wood and sometimes on Metal (shovels, saws) Really anything, even rocks. Everything that I paint is covered with Exterior Urethane to protect them in the outside weather. I love painting and each item would look lovely for home decor, a gift for Mother’s Day or even Father’s Day. I will be at the Market June 20th.

We're so excited to welcome a local Northumberland County favourite - Jeremy McDonald to the Norwood Market on Saturday, June 20th!

Jeremy will be performing live from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., bringing great music, summer vibes, and plenty of energy to another fantastic market day ☀️

There’s nothing quite like strolling through the market, coffee in hand, while enjoying live music and supporting local makers. We're thrilled to have Jeremy joining us as part of our ever-growing 2026 market season.

A 5th generation Maple Syrup producing family making pure maple products on a 300 acre property on the shores of Rice Lake. 💛Meet Cheyenne, our Norwood Market Manager! 💛

If you've attended the market, received an email, submitted a vendor application, seen a social media post, checked out the market map, or stopped by the B.A.C. tent, chances are you've already crossed paths with Cheyenne!

From coordinating vendors and sponsors to organizing layouts, live music, social media, and all the countless behind the scenes details, Cheyenne has been hard at work helping bring the 2026 Norwood Market season to life.

And after an incredible first market in May, we can honestly say all the early mornings, planning meetings, emails, phone calls, and preparation were absolutely worth it ✨

Seeing vendors set up, hearing the live music, watching visitors stroll through the market with coffee in hand, and seeing the community come together made for a truly memorable opening day ☀️

The best part? We're just getting started!

🌿 Meet the B.A.C. – The Norwood Business Advisory Committee! 🌿
When you visit the Norwood Market, you see the vendors, the live music, the smiling faces, and the bustling atmosphere. What you don't always see is the incredible group of volunteers working behind the scenes to help make it all happen.

The Norwood Business Advisory Committee, or B.A.C., is made up of dedicated community members who are passionate about supporting local businesses, creating community connections, and helping Norwood thrive.

Throughout the year, the committee meets to discuss ideas, coordinate events, support local initiatives, connect with businesses, and help shape the future of community events like the Norwood Market. They work alongside Market Manager Cheyenne to help organize everything from sponsorships and logistics to planning and day of operations.

Market days often start early, with committee members helping set up signs, welcome vendors, answer questions, organize supplies, greet visitors, and make sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

Their hard work was a huge part of what made our first market of the season such a success, and we are so grateful for everything they do 💛

And the best part? We get to do it all over again!
