Hilts Butcher Shop Ltd was established in Norwood Ontario in 1978. When the new guidelines came into effect regarding farm kills in the early 1980’s Hilts Butcher Shop became a limited company and part of OMAFRA’s provincial government meat inspected plants. Hilts Butcher Shop Ltd. is a fourth-generation, owned and operated family business and has been serving the Peterborough, Hastings, Prince Ed

ward and Northumberland Counties for over 37 years. Although Ron Hilts retired 20 years ago he still can be found helping out during the busy seasons.
