Cancer affects us all....it does not discriminate...
It does not judge...or pull punches...age is of no factor...body size means nothing...neither does fitness level...it can be viscous and mean....or soft and seemingly trouble free...but at the end of the day, we need a cure...
Cancer in general....needs to go...
Today we aided in the fight. We helped raise money for research. Today we joined forces, different ages and sizes, both young and old, all of us decided to simply Just Live.
Even in the rain, we never batted an eye...
Like the slogan of this years run says "control the controllables"...
So thats what we did. We never gave up. We crossed the finish line as a team leaving no one behind.
It was an honor to stand with our friends, members of our management team and staff and our children as we ran, jogged, walked and chilled out in a wagon 😉 1km to 10km and beyond, we cheered for each other and made memories along the way!! Sure we were damp by the end of it, but our spirits remained strong!! Thank you to everyone that came out to support Just Live PEI!! Big thank you to Makayla, Selena and Sandy for joining us!!
If there was ever a place or an event to support, this one is it!! Lets find a cure!!
