For those who experienced the last 18 hours in Osoyoos , it was NOT SUNSHINE AND BEACH WEATHER.
Woke up this morning to everything that was not buttoned down was either overturned or broken,
Patio furniture, campfire chairs, broken lanterns , kids toys tossed , plants down, my chair at the end of the driveway that has our address that was cemented down was overturned and broken, the porty pottie we have for the the farm workers was on its side, fun morning.
And just when you thought it was over, the rain came down, flooded the driveway, the plants , and the basement, and I had to leave for work, all I could do was put towels on the inside of the basement door to try to hold back the water, before I had to leave for work .
Gary was at at a celebration of life for his good friend , so he came home to wet vac the basement and hang out all the rugs we have .
So if you ever think life at the farm is idyllic, life hands us new challenges every day .
It’s not what life throws at you ,it’s how you face it.
As my good friend says “TODAY WAS A TEST DAY”
We made it through and still found time to do something nice else for someone else.
