If you haven't done so already, or are unaware Lanark county allows you to opt out of the roadside herbicide spraying program for wild parsnip, but you must fill out the form by May 22nd this year! Please check out the link below, you can see where they are spraying and find the forms you can fill out to adopt a road, or the no spray agreement. We can all do our part to manually remove these weeds when they are less active, so we can keep enjoying the native plants and animals for generations to come. https://www.lanarkcounty.ca/government/environmental-initiatives/vegetation-management/

We are very excited to partner with our friends over at Honeycomb Cabin to now sell their wonderful 100% cotton tee's! Come on by to take a look, feel, and try them on for yourself. They use DTF (direct to film) print method to ensure the print won't crack or peel. They are $35, and order forms with multiple colors, sizes, and prints are available to order in the binder on the shelf. Hope to see you at the stand this weekend 😀🥚🦆👕🐔

Just finished tapping our couple maples and last one started dripping right away! As pretty heavy maple syrup users we tapped our maples last year for the first time and had syrup until December. Only spent about $75 on materials. Highly recommend if you have been on the fence, a couple maple trees can go a long way! 🍁🥞

It's that time of the year!!🌱 We have been pretty quiet this winter, but have been planning away for the upcoming season.

We have all our peppers started and most of our tomatoes. If you haven't started these seeds yet, you still have time!

One of our big projects last year was saving seed from a bunch of pepper and tomato varieties that we enjoy (and on the tad bit expensive side for seeds in our opinion). This year we wanted to get our peppers started extra early to ensure we get a better yield. We were able to get a decent amount of tomato seeds, but the peppers unfortunately didn't work out.

Our seeds will be in the stand once it finally warms up but for now if you are interested please shoot us a message! We would be happy to bundle some together with eggs for pickup or will be doing a free delivery each weekend to almonte, pakenham, and arnprior. They are $3 per package and organic like everything at our farm.

Sunrise bumblebee's are a very striking looking cherry tomato, that are sweet and a bit tangy. Sakura are a pretty classic solid red cherry tomato which forms large trusses of fruit up to 20 fruit per truss. We don't currently have a super nice website with lots of information but we are here to answer any questions you may have and get your garden started on the right path!
