Southridge Country Store is a locally owned specialty grocery store on Pender Island, BC. Can’t find it in our store?

Located right next to the store is Picnic park, a picnic and play area for kids and adults alike We carry a variety of items, focussing on as local as possible when possible, and sourcing great products from around the world. Please ask us, we may be able to stock it for you.

Tomorrow is Warthogs last day of the season so if you’ve put it off this long, tomorrow is your last chance to try something special!

Happy Saturday!!!

With school on the horizon it’s time for the last hoorah before we move into fall( yeah I said it!!) Come on in and check out new product and get some of the old faves. Enjoy the park space and a sweet treat from the store after your visit to the market and surrounding area.

The store is stocked with amazing treats and some really nice treasures adorn our shelves. Today would be a good day to walk through and have a peek!

This week marks the beginning of the end of season for Warthogs! This week we will be open Tuesday to Friday 11:30-2:30, then starting next week our fall hours will begin( Wed-Fri 11:30-2:30) with us closing for the season on September 25th. It’s been a fantastic season and we are so pleased with the support of our wonderful burritos, bowls and nachos! You are the BEST customers:)

Today is Pender’s Fall Fair! It’s a beautiful event that really showcases what makes Pender “Pender”!
It’s amazing how this community comes together every year to put on this event with the help of farmers, vendors and volunteers (not to mention the contestants who enter their wares into the competition).
I hope that everyone gets a chance to check it out and support this annual tradition.
When you’re done exploring at the fair( or before) we hope to host you as well. We have lots of delicious treats, curio items, charcuterie, cheeses and lots more:)
There is lots to explore in our little neighbourhood and enough to keep you busy all day!

If you’re curious, WARTHOG’S IS BACK! We are now open our regular hours and the regular menu is ready to go!
This is a great time to come and enjoy what we have to offer. Very soon the kids will be back to school and our hours will change so take advantage while you can!

Today it’s French fries in the truck! French fries and gravy( vegan mushroom gravy) French fries with cheese curd and gravy( vegan mushroom gravy) and Just plain old French fries with ketchup! And yes mayo for those that like that( I know I do!!)

Please note that we will sell until we run out. If we run out we may close early. Hours today are 11:30-2.

Warthogs will be back with burritos, bowls and nachos next Wednesday at 11:30. We promise, it will be worth the wait!

Our store is stocked full with beautiful produce( check out the Raven Rock peppers and the pink house cucumbers!!) We also got more dairy, meats and oyama charcuterie as well!!

Howdy Folks!!

We’ve got lots in store today including my new gf vegan salted chocolate chip cookies!! They turned out amazing and I cannot wait for you to try them!

Also a big note for this week at Warthogs!
We will be doing burritos and Bowls and Nachos as usual until Friday when Kota will be running solo in the truck preparing fries. Add our vegan mushroom gravy, make it a poutine or just enjoy them straight up with ketchup! Truck hours will be different these days as we will only be open until 2 pm ( or we run out of fries…)
We will be closed at the truck next Tuesday but back at it Wednesday our usual hours 11:30-2:30. This will be a short blip I assure you and we will finish off the summer strong with all of your favourites!

The Hog Hiatus is OVER! WARTHOGS IS OPEN!! At 11:30 until 2:30.
Rob is Feeling much better and is ready to welcome you all back for victory burritos( or bowls, or nachos)

The store had a delivery run arrive last night so we should be stocked on most things you need. All the fun candies arrived and should be heading to their shelves today.

Sorry to say it but Warthogs will be closed tomorrow. Rob and I have both come down with fevers and want to make sure no one else gets this.
