Fresh Veggies and Fruit on Saturday August 29th at the Fall Fair at the Co-op Table.
The Fall Fair is this Sat at the Community Hall and the little HUB barn behind the Hall will not be selling fresh food as it will be hosting Fall Fair activities. However you can find your veggies and fruit at a Co-op table which will be with the other vendors right next to the driveway entrance to the Community Hall. We open at 9:30 am, a half an hour before the Fair starts, and will be there until 1:00 pm. Come and check us out!

This Sat morning at the Farmer's Market the Food Hub barn behind the hall will be selling my produce. Labeled under my farm name Filbert Field Farm there will be: Baby beets with tops, Kale, Chard, Peas, Basil, Flowers, Hazelnuts, and more.

For anyone following this page, it looks like we will be selling thru the little barn behind the hall this spring. We may have our own table later in the summer but in the meantime look for our growers under their individual names at the little barn on Sat morning and Wed afternoon. Buy local and support local growers, thank you for your support!

Winter Stock Up Food Market - This Sat Oct 12 at the morning Farmer's Market. You will find food growers behind the hall near the little barn, along with information about food storage: free info sheets and real people to answer your questions! Sponsored by Gulf Island Food Co-Op. For some of us growers it will be the last market of the year, so come on over and stock up on squash, carrots, parsnips, apples, beets, leeks, garlic, and more! Food coupons accepted.

We won't have our own table at the Sat farmer's market this week, however some farms in our group will be selling their produce out of the little Barn behind the hall, operated by Pender Island Farmers Institute. For example the Barn will have Filbert Field
Farm's carrots, cabbage, MacIntosh apples, tomatoes, and hazelnuts.

Our Farmer's Market Table has moved! Market now starts at 10:00 am on Sat mornings! Our table will now be behind the hall next to the little barn where we will still be selling fresh Pender grown veggies and fruit and accepting your food coupons. This week we'll have carrots, beans, corn, zucchini, cucumber, and lots of other stuff. See you there, Sat 10:00 am, barn behind the hall.
