We have added another vendor to our Wednesday Farm Food Hub behind the community hub. Starting this Wednesday some Fridge of Wonders products, I sure do enjoy those popcycles 😊. 3-5:30 pm this week, we are expecting more produce the usual egg selection and the lamb and pork cuts. Plus we always have Tom & Jerrys products on hand those pies and cheeses are a Pender staple it seems. We got all the dinner items available!

Peas! 🫛 💚 🫛

Shelling - remove the shell to get to the sweet sweet treats inside! First pick today, so very light harvest- but SO MANY are coming next week. 😬

Snap - the whole pea is edible, shell and all. (And very sweet too!) Third pick = BOUNTY!

Snow - the ultimate stir fry ingredient! Last pick for us, this crop will soon make way for a special late-planted hoop house crop.

All these and more beautiful produce heading to the Pender Islands Farmers' Market tomorrow. We'll be there from 9:30-1, hope to see you there!

And just like that I am told its Saturday tomorrow and that Farmers Market Day on Pender. We have added a few more vendors this week so lots to check out and we have music by Katie Johnstone at 11 am. The Farm Food Hub is going strong, big thank you to all the Wednesday customers who came out and yes we are back of the hall again on Market days. Come out and explore all the wonderful vendor booths; they're very happy to show you what they have created or grown for you to enjoy! Pender Island Farmers Market 9:30 am to 1 pm, it your Saturday morning happening venue at the community hall grounds.
