The Pictou Farmers’ Market is excited to offer a rotating shared table this summer for local school groups to sell their garden goods.

This is a great chance for students to showcase what they’ve grown, learn about local food, and connect with the community.

Today’s sunshine has us dreaming of market days.

We’re counting down to the first Pictou Farmers’ Market of the season on July 1st, 4–7pm. Fresh air, local food, and that easy summer evening energy… it’s almost here.

We’re still welcoming a few more vendors to round out the market: especially anyone offering preserves, honey, or mushrooms. If you’ve been thinking about joining, now’s the time.

Come be part of something local, vibrant, and full of good things.

If you are a local creator, cook, baker, or grower:

We’d love to welcome you to the Pictou Farmers Market this season! If you have fresh produce, homemade treats, or locally made goods to share, we’d be so happy to hear from you.

Send us a message on Facebook and tell us a little about what you create. We are looking for Vendors who will stay with their own tables from 4-7 on Wednesday evenings starting July first, Market Square in Pictou.

We can’t wait to connect and build a vibrant, supportive market together

Today Dec 10, the New Glasgow Farmers Market 4-8pm. Table 7. Stunning Holiday wreaths or wall decorations made from grape vines. During the holidays, replace a picture or two with an art piece with delicate tendrils that are surprisingly sturdy.

We have closed the market for the season. Thanks to all our wonderful vendors and all of you who came out to make our local food on main street Pictou Farmers Market such a great success. See you again next summer!

I wanted to thank all our fabulous vendors and all our wonderful market shoppers. We had a lot of fun and met so many lovely people. It was so great to be able to have fresh local food on main street. We decided to end on a high note and make last week Sept. 10th our last market day for the year.

Today! is Market day. Another stunningly beautiful day for our outside Gazebo market. 3-5pm. Bring your bags and baskets and come out and meet friends and make new ones!
Fabulous Small Holdings vegetables, Award winning Dutchman's cheese, Rasha's Syrian Delights, Marina and Vandy's excellent sour dough bread, Brenda's brilliant muffins, Express Yourself Café, Merigomish Honey and Mushrooms, River coffee, and new this week ***Homemade Jams and Pickles!!!
