rom work or enjoy a coffee in the park. PFM is a gathering place where community can share and celebrate the bounty of Pictou County. Come join us on Wednesdays 3-6 pm, into the fall. Market initiators: Catherine Beaudette and Roz Owen are practicing artists living in Pictou. Dedicated to making a difference by reactivating the historical market square, it is their interest in sustainability that propelled them to take time from their studios to pursue this exciting new venture. It’s hard to believe, but our final Wednesday market is almost here! Join us Wednesday, September 23rd from 4–7 PM at Market Square as we celebrate a wonderful season together.

Supper in the Square
We’ll be sharing 100 free portions of soup, a roll, and a cookie, made possible through the generosity of our local market community. It’s our little way of saying thank you and celebrating what we’ve built together this season.

Brad Prest will be joining us with his music, and our local makers, bakers, and producers will be coming together to help us end the season with something special.

The supper is free and open to everyone, while supplies last.

Come shop with our local producers, listen to some music, grab a bite, visit with your neighbours, and help us celebrate the Pictou Farmers’ Market season.

We can’t think of a better way to finish the season than gathering with our community. We hope you’ll join us!

Only TWO market days left this season!

We can hardly believe we’re getting so close to the end of another wonderful market season. There are just two Wednesdays left to come down to Market Square, shop from our local bakers, makers, and producers, pick up some fresh local food, listen to some music, and enjoy an evening with your neighbours.

Bring your grocery bags and come stock up for the week!

Something a little extra special for our final market on Wednesday, September 23rd, when we’ll be gathering for Supper in the Square.

Our local makers, bakers, and producers are coming together to provide 100 free portions of soup, a roll, and a cookie for our community. The meal is free and open to everyone, while supplies last.

Brad Prest will also be joining us with live music as we celebrate the end of the season together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the farmers’ market yesterday!

It was certainly sweater weather, but it felt like the perfect season for a little community comfort, supporting our local makers, bakers, and growers, catching up with neighbours, and enjoying an evening together.

And a special thank you to the sunshine for making an appearance for a solid 30 minutes! It brought us all so much joy!

Of course, a huge thank you to Brad Prest for putting on such a wonderful show. We loved having you with us and are thrilled to welcome you back for our final market and Supper in the Square on September 23rd!
