At the Shediac Renaissance Faire, the safety of our guests, vendors, volunteers, performers, and community has always been—and will continue to be—our highest priority.
Recently, we have become aware of unauthorized social media pages falsely representing the Shediac Renaissance Faire and sharing information as though they are our official organization. They are using our photos, logos and social media posts to create resale groups and are impersonating our team and event.
We are actively working to have these pages removed and are taking every appropriate step to protect our community.
If you believe you have been the victim of a scam or have been asked to send money or share personal information by an unofficial source, we strongly encourage you to report the incident to the Shediac Branch of the
RCMP at 1-888-506-7267.
We have already opened a file and an investigation will be underway. In order to facilitate this we need the victims of the scam to file a report as well. Please provide them with any contacts, photos, screenshots or information you may have. Your report can help protect others from becoming victims.
