This one feels pretty special to us.

Growing up in Germany, every time I went hiking with my family, I’d pick up a Landjäger for the trail. 🏔️

It was just one of those things that belonged in the backpack. 🎒

So before my next trip to the mountains, I asked Kyle and the crew if we could make our own. 🏔️

We started with a traditional German-style recipe and then worked through a lot of trial and error to get it where we wanted it. One of the biggest challenges was adapting the process here while still keeping that flavour and texture I remember.

After a few batches, I think we’ve finally got it.

And I’m pretty proud of this one.

A simple, hearty snack that can go in the truck, the backpack, the lunch kit - wherever the journey takes you.

👍 Our Ho**er & Brown Landjäger will be available at the shop starting September 23, sold in packs of five.

The next batch is already in the cooler.

🥩 Our very first Sausage of the Month is here. 🥓🧅🥒

For this one, we wanted to make a beef sausage and bring back some of that old-school Rouladen flavour: bacon, onion, pickles and mustard. 🥓🧅🥒
Traditional Rouladen is great, but it takes a bit of time to prepare.
So we thought… why not make it into a sausage? - That became our first Sausage of the Month.

We made a small batch and it’s in our Explorer’s Choice counter now, while supplies last. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

That’s the whole idea behind Sausage of the Month: trying something new, learning from your feedback, and seeing where it takes us.

And one more thing: all of our sausages are gluten-free.

A couple of these made it into the showcase today. 🥓
Boneless pork loin, seasoned with our Ho**er & Brown Sweet Meat, then wrapped in bacon.
Nothing too complicated — just something we thought would be pretty darn good for supper. 🔥

As usual with these little batches, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

We want to try something new. 🔥🥰

We’re introducing a Sausage of the Month as a small-batch feature in our Explorer’s Choice section.

The idea is pretty simple: try new recipes, work on ideas we’ve had for a while, and hopefully get a few ideas from you too.

Maybe there’s a flavour you’ve always wanted to see. Maybe you’ve got an old family recipe you think would make a great sausage. Maybe we try something and you tell us what worked or what didn’t.

That’s really what this is about.

We’ll make a small batch, put it in the counter, and gather your feedback before deciding where to go next.
We’d love to hear what you think and if you’ve got an idea for a future sausage, let us know in the comments.

And keep an eye out for our next video, where we’ll introduce our very first Sausage of the Month.

Next Saturday, eXp Ponoka is bringing its 2nd Annual Co****le Tournament to Ho**er & Brown. - And this one is really less about being good at throwing bags and more about getting some good people together for a good cause.

We're taking care of the provisions. 🥩

We'll have brisket, burgers, hot dogs and salads ready throughout the evening.

And while there'll be plenty of friendly competition, you don't need to take co****le too seriously. There are prizes for more than winning - including Best Team Name.

Most importantly, proceeds from the tournament are going to support PARCS.
