The Great Port Hope Makers' Market contest!

Bakers, start dreaming up your most artful pies.

They have to taste great, of course, but we're going to be judging them by their looks, too.

We're accepting entries for dessert pies of any sort.

Entrants will be required to bake two pies: one for tasting and judging and the second one to be auctioned off. Proceeds of the auction go to support Cultivate Festival

There will be prizes for the top three, and bragging rights for all!

THE MARKET IN MEMORIAL PARK IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE ROAD TO CULTIVATE FREE CONCERT SERIES IS BACK FOR ITS 4th WONDERFUL YEAR AND WE WANT YOU!

THE MARKET IN MEMORIAL PARK runs EVERY THURSDAY in JULY and AUGUST, FROM 3:00 PM – 8 PM From July 2 to August 27, 2026 inclusive.

We’re looking for FOOD, DRINKS, CRAFTS, and ART vendors; as well as charities and community organizations.

Here’s your chance to be a big part of a weekly cultural festival of music, food, art, and community! How great is that?

FYI
COST: $40/day, pay as you go, or $270/for all nine (9) Thursdays, when you pay up front.
Sign up for one day, a few days or the whole season!

LOCATION: Memorial Park, Queen Street in downtown Port Hope, across from the library.

SET UP: Load in starts at 2 pm. You provide your own table and tent.

TEAR DOWN: 8pm and not a moment before – unless a storm blows in. Seriously.
WASHROOMS: Municipal public washrooms are available on-site.

ELECTRICITY: There are a limited number of electrical outlets available on-site; please advise if needed.

WE PROVIDE: A fantastic location, running water, electricity, marketing and promotion, on-site support, oh, and live music, smiles, good vibes, and lots of positive energy!

PARKING: Vendors will load in and out from Queen and Augusta Streets. Free parking lots and meter street parking on-site.

!!!KID MAKERS: Vendors 16 and under get a special rate of $10 a day or $60 for all nine (9) days if paid up front!!!

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: We welcome charities and community initiatives to participate for FREE.
